Licence
The measured data on this site is free to reuse, commercially too, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence, provided you name Zullfa and link to zullfa.com. The drawings of the figures stay ours, and you may embed them or use the published image as it is, with its credit.
The data is CC BY 4.0
Every measurement we publish is free to reuse, including commercially, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. That covers the distances, areas and walking figures, and the register’s own codes and names. It also covers the CSV beside each figure and the GeoJSON of the 22 zone boundaries on the regulator’s map.
The licence asks only that you name Zullfa and link to zullfa.com. A line such as “Zone boundaries and distances: Zullfa, 19 September 2026 edition, zullfa.com” is enough.
We publish it this way on purpose. The boundaries are the regulator’s; what we added is the measuring, and the useful thing to do with a measurement is to let people check it.
The figures are ours
The drawings themselves (the framing, the palette, the typography, the way a zone is placed and named) are original work and stay © Zullfa, all rights reserved. You do not need permission for any of these:
- embedding a figure, with the paste-ready iframe on its page, where no script of ours runs on yours;
- using the PNG or SVG we publish, which already carries the credit, sources and edition date, unaltered and with the credit visible;
- quoting the numbers, which is the data licence above, with no condition beyond naming us.
What is not covered: redrawing our figures as your own, cropping the credit off an exported image, or republishing the drawings as part of a competing map product. Ask us. The answer is usually yes, and it takes an email.
The backdrop is OpenStreetMap
Roads, rail, stations, landmarks and the signposted precinct crossings come from © OpenStreetMap contributors under ODbL 1.0, retrieved 19 Sep 2026. That attribution is required, and it travels with any reuse of a figure that shows them, which is why it is printed on every exported image and in every caption.
Editions
Each figure carries the date of the data it was drawn from, on the drawing, in its file name and on its page. The current edition is 19 September 2026. When the register moves, we redraw the figures and change the date, so a copy that has drifted says so without anyone having to check.
For machines
figures/index.json lists each figure with its licence, its edition and the files it comes as. llms.txt names the figures you may cite, facts.json carries the confirmed facts with their sources, and zones.geojson is the geometry. All of it is CC BY 4.0.
Not advice
None of it is legal or financial advice, whoever republishes it. It is a record of what official sources say, with the dates they said it.
